Target,
You tried to jumpstart me (thanks) on the wingman jump
topic.
Did you get any response from SPINDZ - as
1: On The list
2: Too much rework to make it happen before WB2007
3: 2 weeks

If you are a Gunner in some other guys plane say for example i was tail gunner in someone elses B24 would i be able to jump to their wingmans plane and be a gunner in that or even better fly it?

Neg, what we were working on was not intra-player. What we've been working on would allow a player with AI wingmen to "survive" their own planes demise and get "auto-jumped" to their nearest AI wingman. Thus prolonging the survivability of bomber missions.

It would be easyer to
1. Disable the F1 "feature" that you can identify the manned buff by only pressing F1
2. Let the AI also fly in front of the manned buff
With this changes it would be much harder to identify and kill the manned buff.
Jumping from AI to AI imho is not very funny.

Both those features are in development also. In fact you can already (in beta) fly behind your AI. They do get irritated a bit when you change direction but once they realize what you're doing they transition back to their post in front of you pretty well. It's a combination of ALL these features (plus the continuing but not completed Norden project) that will, we think, spark new life in the bomber community.
