what are the chances of an eleven year old becoming a trainer?

Pretty slim if he starts on the road AT 11. Will take a couple years of hanging out with the trainers to "get the hang" and be able to start training others. Maybe by the time your 13??? Pretty sure that would still qualify as the youngest trainer ever.

they could do with a young trainer for the other kids couldnt they?
Flyboy started in my squadron when he was 13. He could have become a trainer, but he joined the Israeli Air Force instead.

so that's where that dweeb went!! great for him!! Flyboy was w/o a doubt one of the best spitfire pilots in WarBirds. hey Webs, if ya hear from Flyboy again let'em know Sco-be said hi :)

Eretrc, if the IAF lets 13 year old Flyboys in, does that mean the RAF is full of old fogies? (though the post didn't say he joined IAF at 13)
Too bad IEN can't make Warbirds III available to all our troops and allies over in Iraq. Or can it? How about allowing us to send a CD with the offline version in a "Care Package" to the troops. Or can we? Bill? Matt? Our local radio station is sending quart baggies with goodies and special items, care notes, toiletries, etc. to the troops. I'd like to send a few with a copy of Warbirds 2004. Possible? Yes? No?

i thought he had joined the RAF, he's 13 now you know.
