I agree with eretrc.

I wish Warbirds had millions more users. It is the absolute best game.

I have bunches of ideas about how to advertise WB. Like why not have it available on the back of cereal boxes. How about advertising on TV on the History Channel, the Military Channel (like that other air sim game)? How about having after school clubs (like the Chess Club)? Make another deal with the History Channel like Battle of Britain. Mutually advertise!

Advertise with GOOGLE or YAHOO. Advertise in movie theatres, have disks available as door prizes.

Advertise in Radio Control magazines or web sites. Advertise on boxes of plastic airplane models. Make advertisements or posters to be placed at Radio Control airports, Airshows, computer game stores.

Advertise with demo games included on America Online CDs. Update the demo software sites like download.com and tucows.com! Let Apple include it with all new computers.

Make a FLASH version mini-game with a link to Total Sims. There are tons of flying flash games. Advertise with guys that make FLASH games.

Sell it (say for $9.95 or less) at software game stores in the mall. Wal-Mart , Staples, Half-Price Bookstores.

I know about quality vs quantity, but why not have 2 versions, one for kids under age 20 (minimum install) and one for the over 20 crowd (full install)? It might mean another server and support crew, but I bet it would make tons of money. Or make a educational version for schools with history documentation, maps, readings (fiction and non-fiction), poetry, music/lyrics and lesson plans for teachers! I could make a whole curriculum for a semester elective kids and teachers would eat up!

Any way, I appreciate Total Sims and thank you for giving :) Macs support.

What's really hard to take sometimes is the fact that lots of really good info on Warbirds in other message boards are INSIDE posts with really horrendous titles, like "Surprise! IEN Misses the Boat - AGAIN" or "Why was the F6 nerfed?"

I want to see titles like, "Re: New FM changes." or better yet, "Fact: Target is a god." :D

unfortunately we'll see a lot of "nerfed" threads as the allied UFO's are brought into line with RL data which is the F6's case.

I just want the untouched, unedited for "balance" ammo overhaul enabled for all and to see my GV's ingame.

Now I do start some threads in WB's bbs that start with a lot of "why" or "Is this". I like to think I'm the Geraldo Rivera of WB's. :D

i love to promote WB because i realy love this game!
maybe when we wanna promote a bit, we just have to add more screenshots, often people are ver surprised how nice WB can look with good resolution and nice skins.

i hate to see some trash talking guys who never flow for the last 12 month talking about uberplanes which corrected now like f6f.

well, i like to see more players also, but i like good quality.

1000 idiots will destroy the whole community, 50 bravehearts, real sportsmanship will gain the fun!

When you think about it eretrc, you know almost everyone that gets online with warbirds. Its more like a small community. When it turns into a city, hacks come and corruption.

Counter strike is a good example. Too much fame was put into it, now no one wants to play it.
