View Full Version : Target?
After the beta update, tonight I noticed that all the planes with silver skins now have grey skins (actually pretty dark grey and ugly). I turned clouds off so there wasn't any shawdow and it's still an ugly grey.
Tried using my P47D skin that is quite shinny and it is now a dull ugly grey. The F6F skin looks fine, and is actually lighter than the skins for the P47, P51 and P38. Any idea's?
Also are you aware that in the beta (the real beta) that Midway is now under water?

what york said. reflection maps got screwed up somehow but the programmers are looking into it.
i made a fix for the midway thing and sent it to tim, not sure if its in updater yet or not. could try it and see.
Thanks for the headsup on the reflections. I'll give it a try.

Hi,
2. The mouse scroll wheel now zooms in/out map views (may need to click on map first).
Can you include this function easily to Mission Editor in WarBirds too ?

TARGET another frustrating glitch after the update: Each time I log into an arena I have to reset the buffer type size. It always seems to default to small text.

I thought I was the only one who saw Midway underwater. I mentioned it in a post a long while back:

PS: when i fly at Midway, all the island earth is gone, only water with buildings and trees floating, but no dirt/earth/land. what gives? is this a offline problem?

I thought it might be a temporary Beta problem, but I've run the updater and no fix.
I thought it might be a Mac problem, but Wilz runs a PC so what gives? I'm surprised that no one has mentioned the Midway problem before?

By the way, Tonight's HISTORY CHANNEL "Dogfights" series showed a great re-enactment of 3 pilot's battles in the Pacific theatre. The hightlighted plane was the F4F Wildcat (http://www.iart7.com/WARBIRDS/gallery6c.html). AWESOME FOOTAGE and CGI simulation. Is this what Target and Samart are working on in that mystery CAVE??? Hey, Target! How much is the History Channel paying you?
