Hi all. Here i am at the only Warbirds Forum i can access.
As i am no longer a paying IEN customer. Anyways, does the latest update include the same FM offline as it is being used online? I like to keep track and see if the game has gotten worth playing yet. Awful hard to tell when you can,t ask for any info.
Hiya york good to see your still floating around <S>. Hard to understand why IEN would lock their forum like they have.
Makes it tough for old hands to get the whole picture.
I guess WB is still for the select few and not the many.

hey bro how you been? ien forums were done like that because of people from the past like skull1 and such.. to keep them out.. and in the process it keeps any old customer out as well....

Wow! After nearly 7 months off, I finally got a chance to fly the Spit I mk03 (think that's it) vs the new 109e in the WWII arena. The fight models on these just feel so natural and intuitive. I am just so glad I got the chance to do so before the CoL is rolled back in the arenas.
If these FM's along with the CoL is the shape of things to come I think I'll hang around.

The FM for the new spit and new 109E will NOT change with the next mandatory update, just the CofL for all the other as yet unfinished FM's. The new 109/Spit combo are really the only "finished" FM's that I'm happy with using the new tools.
The CofL altered FMs for the other planes will be available from time to time as we test stuff in certain arenas, maybe the MA, maybe the WW2A, depends on what we need to test and how much feedback we're looknig for.

Target is there anyway to verify which FM is being used offline? I am doing FM testing and it appears the open beta is still using the newer FM. How can I verify which one it is using? I would hate to do a bunch of testing and find out I was testing an unused FM.

Hmm... no, not really. Don't have a UI for swapping them out.
Have asked in the past for it, but no-go just yet.
