Daddy just posted about the 31st gathering in Oct.

I have heard of a iEN con for July, but havent seen any details anywhere.

any HARD facts about an iEN con?

iEN Plans to Sponsor an Official WARBIRDS CONVENTION in 2006!

Plans are being hammered out now, but the quick facts are:

Where - DAYTON OHIO, Home of the National Museum of the United States Air Force. The oldest and largest military aviation museum in the world.

When - JULY 27 - 30th ( Vectren Dayton Airshow Weekend - Featuring the Blue Angels flight demonstration team )

iEN will be hosting special seating at the airshow for convention attendees and we'll of course have the obligatory Golf, Museum visits, A special Dinner night and Convention Speakers including esteemed Veteran Pilots.

Pricing and planning details will follow shortly.

We hope to see lots of Warbirders for the first "official" iEN sponsored Warbirds Convention we've had in quite a while.

I've got an FPO bottle. Not sure what I'll stick in it though. :)

Oh no, not the FPO......my head hurts just thinking about it, not to mention what my stomach is doing.

I wonder if I will remember this one?

One of the best things I've noted about the fact that I've never consumed alcohol in my life is that I can watch everybody else get mentally destroyed beyond recognition, and still be coherent enough to take notes and pictures. :D

oh, Keller, what you don't know is, when I drink alcohol, I do two things:

1) throw up----two drinks will be enough!
2) pass out-----thats why I don't remember anything!

BUT, I tend not to let that hinder my fun! (or, I'm not smart enough to learn from the last time....one or the other)

Didn't say YOU, milady. (heck, I've known you through Matt long enough not EVER to get on your bad side ;))

Still, there're plenty of others I can blackma...umm....sorry....that's not it....ah...well....assist along the course of self enlightenment...yeah, that's it!! :D

I really will try to make it this year. I haven't had a vacation since 2000. (oddly enough, the last time was for a con too) I really need a break. Of course, I may be sleeping in my car and have to beg bathroom privs off others, but I'll try to make it.

dang i wish i was lucky to get to stage 2. after 3 large hits off the FPO ("thanks" to Kossu), a shot of scotch, 2-3 shots of vodka, 2 special Brizallian moonshine drinks made by Peskey, and 2-3 beers.... i was praying to god to pass out that morning!!!! :o

funny part, i was still coherent enough to talk rationally. i dont remember WHAT we talked about :) but I'm sure some day Roan, Daddy or Fear could remind me. I think i remember something about Shred running into a open door? ... hmmm :D
